ENVIRONMENTAL RISKS IN THE SYSTEM OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

The work is devoted to an urgent topic: accounting and prevention of possible environmental risks, as one of the conditions for the sustainable use and development of the Planet's land resources. The article examines possible environmental risks beyond the climate agenda related to the physical impact on the environment: emissions into the atmosphere, soil and water pollution, waste generation and negative effects on natural biodiversity. The paper attempts to analyze methods of environmental risk management in the development and implementation of projects in various areas of the economy, including in the land use system.
