Revolutionizing fuel production through biologically synthesized zero-dimensional nanoparticles

CQDs were synthesized by water caltrop peels. A CuSe@CQDs composite was utilized for the degradation of dye pollutants along with the generation of hydrogen. 99.4% of thymol blue was degraded and the rate of H2 production was 2360 μmol g−1 h−1.
