Hollow nanostructured NiO particles as an efficient electrode material for lithium-ion energy storage properties

A facile non-aqueous chemical approach was employed for the synthesis of NiO porous hollow structures by using an easily water washable template. These hollow particles are greatly beneficial to the Li-ion battery and Li-ion hybrid supercapacitors.
