We replaced Cl− ions with bulkier BF4 and PF6− in ionic thermoelectric polymers. BF4−-MADQUAT and PF6−-PDADMAC showed good ionic conductivity and reliable, reproducible Seebeck coefficients at 40% humidity and better air stability.
