The article analyzes the efficiency of a vertical flare furnace used to heat hydrogen-containing gas in a hydrodealkylation plant. It was found that the furnace has low efficiency, the value of which is influenced by multiple factors. To increase the efficiency of the existing furnace, a com-prehensive solution was proposed, including the reconstruction of the coil, the fuel and oxidizer supply system, and the flue gas removal system
