3D cauliflower-like Ni foam: a high-efficiency electrocatalyst for ammonia production via nitrite reduction

A 3D cauliflower-like Ni foam on a titanium plate (Ni foam/TP) acts as an outstanding catalyst for electrochemical NO2−-to-NH3 conversion, attaining a large NH3 yield of 742.7 μmol h−1 cm−2 and a high NH3 faradaic efficiency of 95.9%.
