(200) PEYRONIE'S DISEASE SURGERY GRAFTING AREA REDUCTION: A COMPARATIVE ASSESSMENT BETWEEN IGRAFTER APP VS DOUBLE Y USING VALIDATED LOW-COST 3D-PRINTED PENILE MODELS

Abstract Objectives Compare 2 PIG techniques, the iGrafter and Double-Y in 3 main aspects: I) Total grafting area; II) The variation in calculating the grafting to be used; III) time to perform the PIG. Methods Six urologists with expertise in sexual medicine performed both techniques twice using four 3-D vali-dated training models for PD with a standard 60° uniplanar dorsal curvature. Results For all surgeons, the use of iGrafter resulted in 2 grafts, for the Double Y technique in 1 graft. The Total Time of surgery was significantly longer for the iGrafter than for DY technique: 49 min +/- 11 min vs 40.7 min +/-5.7 min, respectively (P = 0.02). The iGrafter grafting area was significantly smaller to the Double Y technique (11.6 cm2 +/- 1.2 cm2 vs 23.3 cm2 +/- 5.4 cm2, respectively (P = 0.01), representing a 50.2% grafting area reduction for the iGrafter when compared to the DY. The variation of graft area, using the iGrafter also yielded a more consistent graft across all surgeons when compared to the DY technique (CV = 10.56% for the iGrafter vs 23.28% for the DY). Conclusions Using the iGrafter software for PIG surgery has shown to be a promising technique for severe Peyronie's Disease management resulting in smaller graft size (about 50% smaller when compared to the DY) which can potentially mean less erectile dysfunction for the patients operated by this technique.
