Wideband Fully‐Differential 1 × 4 Dielectric Resonator Antenna Array Design

In this paper, a wideband fully‐differential 1 × 4 rectangular dielectric resonator antenna (DRA) array is introduced. The array is excited using a balanced‐to‐balanced microstrip‐to‐slotline feeding network for differential excitation of four linear rectangular DRAs. The proposed design achieves a measured 10‐dB differential impedance bandwidth of 24.8% (3.05–3.92 GHz), and a peak realized gain of 10.9 dBi. Owing to the balanced feeding architecture, wideband operation, high‐gain radiation and effective common‐mode suppression are observed. The proposed antenna design eliminates the need for external baluns, enabling direct integration with differential RF front‐end systems.
