Visible-Light-Mediated 1,2-Arylpyridylation of Alkenes Using Arylboronic Acids and Cyanopyridines

The reaction mechanism was verified via radical trapping experiments and DFT calculations. This reaction proceeds under mild conditions, features broad substrate compatibility and is readily scalable to the gram scale.
