Visible-light-induced highly efficient catalysis of nitro reduction by Pd and FeCl 3
Tianshu Qin, Lirong Yao, Hao Wu, Yihong Wang, Yue Chen, Dong Liu, Aiqin Liu, Zhushuang BaiA synergistic catalytic system comprising Pd/C and FeCl 3 , utilising H 2 O as a hydrogen source under light-driven conditions, has been established; this system is capable of completing the reduction of nitro groups within 10 minutes.
