VECTORS AND PROBLEMS OF PERSONNEL DEVELOPMENT IN THE INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY INDUSTRY OF THE REPUBLIC OF AFGHANISTAN

The subject of the article is the personnel of organizations in the information technology industry of the Republic of Afghanistan. The purpose of this study is to explore the vectors and problems of personnel development in the information technology industry of the Republic of Afghanistan. A systematic review and analysis of scientific and research documents was conducted to collect the data. The study showed that despite the existing obstacles to the development of personnel in the information technology industry of the Republic of Afghanistan, including the destroyed educational infrastructure, limited access to technology and gender barriers, there are positive trends in the form of international cooperation, the development of e-learning and government support for digitalization. Further research should focus on evaluating the effectiveness of the measures being implemented, monitoring the dynamics of the IT sector, and studying the impact of international support programs on the quality of specialist training. Special attention should be paid to exploring the potential of women’s participation in the IT sector and developing mechanisms for retaining qualified personnel within the country. The successful implementation of the proposed recommendations can not only contribute to the development of the local IT community, but also turn Afghanistan into a significant player in the international digital technology market.
