Aida Maskhoridinovna Sharapidinova

Research objective: to analyze current literature data on the efficacy of using kisspeptin agonists as an ovulation trigger for the prevention of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome in highrisk patients. Research methods: An analytical review of the scientific literature from 2020 to 2025 was conducted using the PubMed, Scopus, Embase, Web of Science, and Clinical Trials.gov databases, as well as the recommendations of the ASRM and ESHRE. The review included randomized clinical trials, systematic reviews, and meta-analyses focusing on the use of kisspeptin as a trigger in IVF programs. Key findings: It was established that the use of kisspeptin agonists ensures effective oocyte maturation and comparable rates of fertilization and pregnancy, with a significant reduction in the risk of severe ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome. The most pronounced positive effect was observed in patients with high ovarian reserve and polycystic ovary syndrome. Additionally, a reduction in the frequency of embryo transfer cancellations and improved safety of assisted reproductive technology programs were identified. Conclusions and clinical implications: The use of a kisspeptin trigger is a promising and safe method for inducing ovulation, helping to reduce the incidence of complications in assisted reproductive technology programs and enhance the effectiveness of personalized approaches in reproductive medicine.
