Capacity reactivation involves the reconstruction of the cathode. Zn3(OH)2V2O7·2H2O, showing intercalation pseudocapacitive behavior, forms in situ on the Ag0.33V2O5 cathode to prevent cathodic dissolution and activate the capacity.
