Tyrosine-capped AuNPs enable near-complete loading of AamAP1-Lys-NH 2 , reduce cytotoxicity and protease degradation and preserve antimicrobial activity. Nanoparticles improve survival in P. aeruginosa burn wound infections, supporting wound therapy.
