Trigger topics of network groups and "real" formats of socio-political communication in Siberian regions

Evgeny Golovatsky, Anna Orlova

The appeal of sociologists to the problems of trigger topics is a relatively new and insufficiently conceptualized area of fundamental and applied research. The regional alignment of network socio-political communications allows us to capture common and unique formats and ways of organizing and perceiving certain trigger topics by network users. The purpose of the article is to consider of sociological approaches to determining trigger topics of real and network socio-political communications in Siberian regions. The objectives of the study are to describe the social characteristics of trigger topics in online communities, as well as a comparison of virtual and real socio-political communications of Siberian communities in the trigger agenda. The article proposes to analyze trigger agendas, taking into account the actor orientation on the scale of regional socio-political communication. While maintaining the destructive orientation of trigger states, network research allows us to consider the freedom to popularize agendas, create fake formats, and virtual associations of constructive and destructive significance. The trigger agenda does not have strictly obvious results and consequences depending on the subject, taking into account the subjectivity, level of significance and specific communicative practices implemented (potential) as a result of the inclusion of trigger topics.
