Abstract

After a decade of successful Academic International Medicine (AIM) meetings along the East Coast, the AIM 2025 Congress Planning Committee made a strategic decision to endorse a West Coast proposal for the 10 th Annual Congress. The American College of Academic International Medicine (ACAIM) partnered with the California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) in Carson, California, to materialize this ambitious undertaking. The theme of this year’s meeting was “Coast-to-Coast: Sustainable Solutions for Healthcare” and reflected both the College’s first ever West Coast meeting and the global focus on sustainability. Primary organizing efforts for the meeting were facilitated by the School of Public Health & Health Sciences at CSUDH, with substantial programmatic and organizational contributions also provided by Northwell Health, Long Island, New York. The AIM 2025 Scientific Forum featured a blend of both virtual and in-person scientific presentations, providing significant logistical flexibility and enabling participants from around the world to present their research seamlessly. This article summarizes key highlights from the AIM 2025 Congress, along with selected scholarly presentations from the 2025 Scientific Forum.
