With today’s increasing urbanization, mass housing areas have become critically important for the quality of life of individuals. In this context, green spaces in mass housing areas are noteworthy for their positive effects on residents' social interaction and health. This study aims to investigate the green space usage habits of residents living in the Çölgüzeli TOKİ 2nd Stage housing complex in Barış Neighborhood, Kayapınar District, Diyarbakır Province, and the effects of green spaces on their perceptions of social interaction and health. Using a quantitative research method, data were collected from participants through surveys. The study aims to show that green spaces play an important role in strengthening social bonds among residents of mass housing and improving their physical and mental well-being. The findings offer important implications for designing more livable, social, and healthy green spaces in future mass housing projects.
