The Promotional Mechanism of Aesthetic Experience in Art Education on College Students' Psychological and Emotional Health

Abstract

Objective

College students face prominent academic and life psychological pressure, which easily causes emotional imbalance and affects mental health and stable mental state. This study explores the promotional mechanism of aesthetic experience in art education on college students' psychological and emotional health, aiming to provide practical paths for alleviating their psychological pressure, regulating emotional states and safeguarding mental health.

Subjects and Methods

Taking 150 college students with different art education exposure as subjects, this study uses psychological scales to measure their psychological pressure, emotional health and mental state levels, and combines questionnaire surveys and correlation analysis to explore the quantitative relationship between aesthetic experience intensity and psychological emotional health indicators.

Results

In-depth aesthetic experience in art education significantly reduces college students' psychological pressure, optimizes their emotional regulation ability and stabilizes mental state; the lack of aesthetic experience is associated with higher psychological pressure and poor emotional health, and even induces negative mental states such as anxiety.

Conclusions

Aesthetic experience in art education is a key factor promoting college students' psychological and emotional health, which can directly alleviate psychological pressure and indirectly optimize mental state by enhancing emotional perception.
