The Panchromatic Stellar Atlas (PaStA) as a tool for studying stellar populations in the Milky Way

The Panchromatic Stellar Atlas (PaStA) is a stellar atlas covering most of the sky containing high-precision astrometric measurements, in a way that we can derive distance straight from the parallax inversion. It is built by crossmatching the surveys Gaia, AllWISE and GALEX All-Sky Imaging Survey for photometry and astrometry, Gaia-ESO, SEGUE, LAMOST and APOGEE for atmospheric parameters, and Edenhorfer (2023) and Chiang (2023) for reddening coefficients. PaStA contains photometric data from 12 bands for around 10 million stars, ranging from infrared to ultraviolet, astrometric data, interstellar extinction correction and atmospheric parameters of effective temperature ( T eff ), superficial gravity ( log g ), and metallicity ( [Fe/H]).
We present the full catalogue of 10 million objects, containing photometric data, astrometry, reddening, and atmospheric parameters for around 1 million objects. We discuss future catalogue updates, applications and paths on how PaStA can contribute to different studies.
