THE NECESSITY OF A NEW ECONOMIC SYSTEM IN THE NEW WORLD ORDER

This study analyses the causes and consequences of global income inequality, and the limits of the current economic order, addressing the need for a more equitable and sustainable economic system in a new world order. A literature review and analysis of secondary data demonstrate that neoliberal policies and technological transformations have exacerbated inequality, posing serious risks to social unrest, political instability, and sustainable development. The study develops recommendations such as strengthening welfare state policies, implementing universal basic income, implementing a sustainable development perspective, implementing tax justice, and ensuring the fair distribution of technological gains.
