Vladislav DanilovThis article analyzes current unemployment issues amid profound structural changes in the modern economy and identifies key areas for improving public employment management. Key contradictions are highlighted: the mismatch between worker qualifications and current market demands, the rise of hidden unemployment, and the significant gap between passive support measures and the need for proactive policies. Using the Republic of Tatarstan as an example, a set of effective solutions is proposed, including transforming employment services into recruitment centers, implementing modern digital platforms for forecasting labor needs, and developing interdepartmental cooperation.
