The impact of international transport corridors on the country's socio-economic development

The article examines the theoretical aspects of international transport corridors as the main instrument of socio-economic growth of the country in a changing geopolitical environment. The transport component is a key factor influencing the investment attractiveness of the regions through which the MTK passes. The authors analyzed the dynamics of cargo transportation volumes along the main transport arteries for the period 2021-2025. Based on a comparative analysis of transport cooperation between the Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China, promising areas for improving the efficiency of Russian transport corridors have been identified, which include transit potential. Key infrastructure projects and organizational measures have been identified to increase capacity and shorten delivery times. The results of the study have practical significance for substantiating strategic decisions in the field of transport policy and international integration.
