The impact of internal communications on employee engagement
Yuliya Akimova, Anna Belogolovaya, Angelina FetisovaThis paper examines the key determinants of employee engagement among specialists constituting the core personnel of an organization. The study analyzes the relationship between the quality of internal communications, understood as the totality of information flows within a company, and the level of employee engagement. Based on empirical data analysis, it is demonstrated that satisfaction with communication processes is directly correlated with employee engagement. The effectiveness of these processes is contingent upon the systematic implementation of information dissemination, cross-departmental coordination, and feedback mechanisms. Particular attention is devoted to the role of regular communication regarding corporate goals and strategic plans, the transparency of managerial decision-making, and the establishment of two-way feedback between management and staff. The findings indicate that the aforementioned factors constitute necessary conditions for sustaining high levels of engagement, preserving personnel potential, and enhancing the competitiveness of the organization in the context of a skilled labor market shortage.
