. In this study, based on Rosstat data for 2022–2025, a quantitative analysis is carried out of the impact of the digitalization level of households on the structure of consumer expenditures in Russia. Using calculations of growth rates, the index of structural changes (Ryabtsev index), and correlation-regression analysis across 10 regions, it is found that there is a strong positive relationship (r = 0.87, p < 0.01) between the share of households with broadband internet access and the share of non-food expenditures. An increase in digitalization by 1 percentage point (p.p.) leads, on average, to a 0.41 p.p. increase in the share of non-food expenditures. It is estimated that over the period 2022–2025, the share of expenditures on digital goods and services increased by 2.1 p.p., accounting for 42% of the total increase in expenditures on services.
