The groove and peel technique of manual deep anterior lamellar keratoplasty
Rishi Swarup, Prateek GujarThe authors describe the ‘Groove and Peel’ technique of deep anterior lamellar keratoplasty (DALK), which is easy to learn and reproducible and consistently enables removal of most of the corneal stroma, potentially reaching the pre-Descemet’s layer. The technique requires minimum instrumentation and provides a good alternative to big bubble technique of DALK.
