The genome sequence of the Wood Groundling, Parachronistis albiceps (Zeller, 1839) (Lepidoptera: Gelechiidae)

Gavin R. Broad, , , , , , ,
We present a genome assembly from an individual male Parachronistis albiceps (Wood Groundling; Arthropoda; Insecta; Lepidoptera; Gelechiidae). The genome sequence has a total length of 400.25 megabases. Most of the assembly (97.9%) is scaffolded into 30 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the Z sex chromosome. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled, with a length of 15.19 kilobases. This assembly was generated as part of the Darwin Tree of Life project, which produces genomes for eukaryotic species found in Britain and Ireland.
