Maarten J. M. Christenhusz, , , , , , , ,
We present a genome assembly of Carex divulsa (Grey Sedge; Streptophyta; Magnoliopsida; Poales; Cyperaceae). The genome sequence has a total length of 388.30 megabases. Most of the assembly (99.95%) is scaffolded into 27 chromosomal pseudomolecules. The mitochondrial sequences have lengths of 1043.83 and 330.03 kilobases and the plastid genome assembly has a length of 183.84 kilobases. This assembly was generated as part of the Darwin Tree of Life project, which produces reference genomes for eukaryotic species found in Britain and Ireland.
