The Faunal Remains from the Roman–Early Byzantine Residential Quarter at Oboda (‘Avedat)

Excavations in the town of Oboda in the Negev Highlands yielded faunal remains from Roman and Early Byzantine (late third–early fifth century CE) contexts. It was found that the site’s economy in both periods relied mainly on caprine flocks dominated by sheep.
