The experience of artwork: Art of artificial intelligence and the crisis of the idea of emancipation
Divna VuksanovicThis paper explores the experience of the artwork in the context of the creation of artificial intelligence, drawing on the theoretical frameworks of Benjamin, Adorno, Luciana Parisi, etc. The focus is on the redefinition of the artwork in the era of algorithmic capitalism, where the collaboration between the artist and the machine is examined through dialectical processes of deauratization and the loss of the artistic in art (Entkunstung). This transformation of art is analyzed in light of its production, distribution, and reception, while the experience of art today is critically reexamined. In the spirit of Thus, this research reposes the question of what art means after the experience of Auschwitz, as a humanistic question posed in contemporary society, where ideological and social dynamics intertwine with the redefined place of art in the context of new technologies.
