The Effect of Multicomponent Hand Hygiene Education on the Hand Hygiene Belief, Practice and Skill of Nursing Students

Objective: The primary objective of this study was to evaluate how a comprehensive hand hygiene education intervention affects nursing students’ hand hygiene-related beliefs, practical application, and technical skills.Methods: This is a randomized controlled experimental study employing a pretest-posttest control group design. We conducted the survey at Nursing Department of a University located in the west of Turkey. “The Hand Hygiene Belief Scale”, “the Hand Hygiene Practices Inventory”, “the Handwashing Skill Effectiveness Assessment Form” and microbiological analyses were used to acquire data.
