There was a statistically significant effect of employing Jordanian competencies in Saudi universities on protecting them from exploitation. The study revealed that there was a statistically significant effect of work motivations for Jordanian competencies in Saudi universities on protecting them from exploitation. The study recommended that the universities should spend more on the preparation and publication of research that enhances their ranking, and stressed the need to protect Jordanian competencies in their home country from exploitation by the private sector by setting salary rates for academic jobs. Moreover, regulations and laws need to be enforced by the Ministry of Higher Education, the Ministry of Labor, and unions.
