The Economic Theory of the MNE: A View from Reading

This article challenges the focus on economic theory as the basis for International Business in the tradition of Reading, MIT, Harvard, and others. It is concluded that past and current research in International Business is sufficiently rich and focused so that there is no need to look for validation from other methodologies. Yet, maybe even this statement in itself shows that the need for validation is still there.
