The Concept of Creating a Universal Neutron Activation Isotope-Element Analyzer

V Dreyzin

The article discusses the concept of building a universal neutron activation isotope- element analyzer that allows for rapid isotope-element analysis of a substance without prior separation of the target elements. At the same time, no prior restrictions are imposed on the elemental composition of the analyzed substance, and the preparation of the analyzed samples is minimal and simple, which can include both solid samples in the form of thin discs and powdered and liquid samples. The analyzer itself is a high-tech, computerized, and automated system that does not require special operating conditions (such as radiation-protected rooms) or highly skilled personnel
