The concept of an industry digital platform in industry: principles, roles of participants, components

This article examines the application of a platform approach to the digital transformation of industry in Russia. Based on statistical data on the level of digital technology adoption for 2020–2024, the digitalization index in the industrial and agricultural sectors is analyzed to justify the transition from isolated solutions to a comprehensive platform approach that promotes four groups of technologies: infrastructure technologies, analytical technologies, physical control technologies, and management technologies. The author proposes a concept for an industry-specific digital platform with state participation, describing the key principles of the platform's operation and defining six categories of participant roles. A five-year investment forecast for the development and maintenance of the digital platform is presented, along with a monetization scheme with five revenue sources, aiming to cover operating costs by the end of the period under review.
