The computer model of learning that takes into account the distribution of educational material by complexity
R. MayerAs a result of textbook analysis, distributions are obtained: 1) sentences in length; 2) formulas in the number of characters. It is shown that the complexity profile of the educational material is often similar to the Poisson distribution, the peak of which shifts towards increasing complexity as learning progresses. A model has been developed that simulates the development of a pupil, taking into account the influence of parents, teachers and other sources of information. It takes into account the dynamics of learning and forgetting knowledge, the logistical dependence of understanding on the complexity of the material, periodic testing of the student, adaptation of the complexity of the educational material to his current level of knowledge. Two scenarios are considered: 1) spontaneous learning without a teacher; 2) learning with control and feedback. It is shown that in the presence of control and timely correction of the complexity of the material, the effectiveness of training is higher. The modeling results correspond to the principle of expanding the zone of the nearest development and allow us to substantiate optimal strategies for pedagogical management.
