S. Astahov, L. Nazarova, P. Hohryakov, Maksim Vasyanovich, Mihail Zhukovskiy, I. KamalovaThese results present the results of testing the new NEVA® filter material, manufactured by Respiratory Complex LLC, for its effectiveness in capturing radioactive aerosol particles under various operating conditions. The object of investigation was a radon-222 box with its progeny as aerosol particles with sizes in the 250–400 nm range. The average permeability of the NEVA® filter material in this atmosphere of aerosol particles was 0,074% (average material protection factor of 2120), 0,085% for RK 7730 and RK 7731 (material protection factor of 1325), and 0,041% for R-2U (material protection factor of 2660)
