Nguyễn Anh Cường, Kiều Văn NamThis article analyses and compares the anticorruption philosophies of two leaders, Ho Chi Minh and Xi Jinping, who represent two neighbouring countries with many similarities in political systems but differences in historical and economic contexts. The research aims to clarify the similarities and differences in the perspectives and methods of combating corruption employed by these two leaders. The main research methods include document analysis and philosophical comparison, drawing from historical sources, speeches and key policy documents. The findings indicate that while Ho Chi Minh focused on building revolutionary ethics, self-criticism and public supervision, Xi Jinping has employed robust legal measures, power supervision and international cooperation. This article clarifies the impact of these strategies on political development and social stability in Vietnam and China, and provides an insightful comparison of anticorruption approaches in modern socialist countries.
