This chapter gives insight in the ABCs of Cultural Understanding and Communication and its applications in various contexts. It highlights the value of the model for teacher education and for cooperation in a highly diverse society by describing the related studies as well as the theoretical background. In addition, it gives a deeper insight into one of the projects that uses the ABCs of Cultural Understanding and Communication Life Stories in the Context of Past and Present, in which prospective teacher candidates cooperate with senior citizens focusing life stories in the context of past and present.
