Tensile strain enhances four-phonon scattering and suppresses thermal conductivity in monolayer MoSe

Biaxial tensile strain strongly suppresses thermal conductivity in fractional-layer MoSe ₂ by reducing phonon propagation and increasing the relative importance of four-phonon scattering.
