TECHNOPARK AS AN ELEMENT OF REDEVELOPMENT OF POST-INDUSTRIAL TERRITORIES

E. Sholoh, I. Savina

The paper considers the redevelopment of post-industrial territories using technoparks as a functional and spatial model of urban development. The object of the study is post-industrial areas of large cities that have lost their industrial function and require comprehensive spatial transformation. The research methods include analysis and generalization of domestic and international experience in the redevelopment of industrial zones, comparative analysis of spatial models of innovation activity, as well as architec-tural and urban planning analysis of implemented technopark projects. As a result of the study, the main architectural and urban planning approaches to the formation of technoparks on post-industrial territories are identified, including functional transformation of development, adaptation of industrial heritage, formation of a multifunctional and flexible planning structure, and development of public spaces. Principles for the formation of technoparks ensuring the sustainability of redeveloped territories and their integration into the urban structure are formulated.
