Liquid metals have garnered increasing attention as an emerging class of functional materials in recent years. In this work, an azo polymer coat with photo‐responsive properties is successfully applied onto the surface of liquid metal through reversible addition‐fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT) polymerization. The photo‐responsiveness of the resulting liquid metal/azo polymer hybrid material is thoroughly investigated. Liquid metal nanodroplets grafted with azo polymers exhibit exceptional ultraviolet and near infrared photo‐responsiveness due to photothermal effect of liquid metal and isomerization of azo polymer.
