Lee, Jun Jiao, Gonzalo Campillo-AlvaradoSingle crystals of an organic semiconductor undergo surface co-crystallization with phenol vapors, producing color and luminescence changes. The process is reversible, enabling solid-state sensing through hydrogen bonding at the crystal surface.
