ABSTRACT

The treatment of locally advanced colon cancer is surgically challenging, particularly in patients with prior pancreaticoduodenectomy. Careful assessment after neoadjuvant chemotherapy may enable curative resection while preserving pancreaticobiliary reconstruction. As the postoperative prognosis for pancreaticoduodenectomy improves, similar cases can be expected to increase.
