ABSTRACT

One main factor in overcoming dispersion analysis issues in fiber‐based optical communication systems is the technique of dispersion analysis. This study centers on a suggested time‐division multiplexing gigabit‐capable passive optical network (TDM‐GPON) simulation model for analyzing optical fiber dispersion on TDM of gigabit‐capable passive optical network, which offers large bandwidth at low cost and power consumption. By using a single value for the operating wavelength, fiber cable length, and power and a variety of scenarios for both upstream and downstream directions, we assessed the dispersion analysis of TDM‐GPONs system transmission for many users in this study. OptiSystem 19 is a simulation tool used to examine the system design based on values of bit error rate (BER), Q‐factor, eye‐diagram, optical spectrum power (OSP), and electrical spectrum power (ESP) that are dependent on the simulation.
