Study of the Phase Composition and Microstructure of Alumina Spinel‐Containing Cement Clinkers in the CaO‐Al 2 O 3 –CoO–NiO System

The results of the analysis confirmed the presence of alkaline earth metal aluminates in the clinkers, as well as the phases CaAl 2 O 4 , CaAl 4 O 7 , CoAl 2 O 4 and NiAl 2 O 4 . Microstructural studies revealed the presence of a granular, uniformly structured surface, which contributes to the formation of stable operational characteristics of the material. The systematic study of the synthesis and structure formation processes of clinkers presented in this work opens up opportunities for the targeted creation of materials with enhanced performance characteristics, suitable for use in the high‐temperature and aggressive environments of modern construction.
