Steering interfacial molecular structures by substrate–molecule charge transfer

Porphyrin-templated C ₆₀ stripes on Ag(111) enhance substrate-to-molecule charge transfer by reducing lateral Coulomb repulsion, demonstrating that nanoscale molecular packing can be used to engineer interfacial electronic properties.
