Spectroscopic Analysis of OB stars in the Carina Nebula
Wilton Santos, Simone Daflon, João Victor Sales Silva,Abstract
Our analysis presents the projected rotational velocities derived for 330 stars based on the widths of He I lines at 4388 Å and 4471 Å Ẇe also report the abundance results for a subsample of sharp-lined OB stars within the Carina Nebula. Using a semi-automatic method based on non-LTE spectral synthesis and ionization balance, we simultaneously determined atmospheric parameters such as T eff , log g , V sin i , V micro and V macro , as well as the abundances of silicon, oxygen, nitrogen, and carbon. Our study provides the most comprehensive chemical abundance and V sin i analysis for OB stars in open clusters of the Carina OB1 association.
