Soil literacy turns information into action

New research from Aroura explains how knowledge, trust and participation can strengthen the decisions that protect soil. A soil map can identify a problem without resolving it. A farmer may need help interpreting a result. A council officer may be unsure how it should affect a planning decision. A community may question whether its experience has been heard. In each case, producing more information addresses only part of the challenge.
