Abstract

Smart Supply Chains is one of the evolving concepts in management. From making to procuring to sourcing products, everything is artificial intelligence (AI)-driven. The applications of AI, like warehouse optimization, real-time stock tracking and product optimization, are popular applications of AI. With the use and adoption of fuzzy models like artificial neural network (ANN) frameworks, the dependency on humans has eventually reduced, making smart AI ensure the best decisions for operations. The paper includes a case study and a study of a theoretical model known as Supply Chain Operations Reference (SCOR) (Model), which is very popularly used in supply chain management and tracking logistics. The process includes plan, source, make, deliver and return. This is a good framework applied with AI in automation logistics for smoother functioning. It includes the use of fuzzy algorithms, genetic models and ANN networks to efficiently update and track product specifications as well as the delivery process without much human interaction. The ANN model is popular and widely used in data science as well as behavioural science.
