Smart Contracts in the Management of Digital Transactions of Autonomous Economic Entities
Roman OlinThe article examines the transformation of economic interaction under the influence of artificial intelligence, distributed ledgers, and programmable settlements. The transition is considered from the traditional transaction model, based on human decision-making, contractual confirmation, and subsequent control, to digital interaction in which a significant part of operations is performed by autonomous agents. The economic agency of an artificial intelligence agent arises through verifiable identity, formalized constraints, and the preservation of a reliable audit trail. The role of smart contracts is revealed as a source of programmable digital norms that make it possible to combine the condition of a transaction and the completion of settlement within a single technical framework. The article also considers oracles, asset tokenization, and the reduction of transaction costs in mass machine-to-machine exchange.
